Get a Lick of This: Skinny Margarita Popsicles

Ingredients:
3/4 cup fresh lime juice (from about 6 limes)
1 1/4 cups fresh orange juice

2 Tablespoons agave nectar

1 cup silver tequila

Prep Time: 10 min
Makes: 8 (6-inch) popsicles

Need a quick (and guilt free!) vacation from this hot July heat? Channel the inner kid in you with these refreshing wonders on a stick. Just stock your fridge with the ingredients (above) along with a set of popsicle mold/sticks. First, mix together the lime juice, orange juice, agave nectar and tequila. Then, place the liquid into the molds and freeze until the mixture becomes semi-firm (about 2 hours). Next, insert the popsicle sticks and freeze for about 10 hours, or until the concoction is frozen solid. When ready to eat, just place the molds under warm water and voila! Time to share (or not) and unwind. These pops are ideal for a beach day, country concert tailgate, or even as a post workout reward. For more of a punch, swap the OJ with a splash of Triple Sec. Even more, pump up the agave nectar for a more sweet than sour taste. You be the bartender! Still, if the popsicle just doesn’t tingle your taste buds, throw the ingredients over ice and indulge—no harm, no foul. Real easy, real refreshing—so you don’t have to sweat (literally). I would just be mindful of grabbing one before they're gone.
Conclusion: Blogger tested, Stylegodis approved.
